The popular Bangladeshi actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila has chosen to shorten her name by removing "Khan" from it. In an interview, she explained that her full name does indeed include "Khan," but she doesn't use it. Her father and grandfather have "Khan" in their names, and she felt that having such a long name could be cumbersome, so she omitted it during her SSC registration.
She reduced her name for practicality, even though her family members still retain the "Khan" in their names. Notably, Mithila was previously married to the well-known Bangladeshi singer and actor Tahsan Khan. However, their marriage ended in divorce, and it was after that separation that she removed "Khan" from her name.
Mithila has a close bond with her father, and they share a strong relationship. During her childhood, her father used to braid her hair, and now she does the same for her daughter, Aira.
Mithila recalls her childhood and how she observed her father and mother working hard daily. Her mother used to attend school, and after her departure for school, her father took care of the family's needs.
She used to prepare Aira's tiffin, do the household chores, and even stitch clothes, all with her own hands.
